Often when I’m designing character dice, I try to visualise the character in movement, and pick a pour technique that is evocative of their mannerisms. When I was planning out my design for Mirai, a hadozi monk, I really tried to lean into a ‘flowy’ pour technique for the resin. I wanted ribbons of colour and texture in the dice so that I could capture her dance-like movements.
